About the Program

What the Program Contains ?

Somatic & Grounding Techniques for Psychological Practice is an experiential, skill-building training designed to help participants understand and apply mind-body and grounding techniques in psychological practice. The program covers somatic awareness, sensory grounding, breathwork, movement-based practices, emotional regulation, trauma-sensitive approaches, and the integration of grounding techniques into therapy sessions. Through live demonstrations, role plays, peer practice, case discussions, and reflection activities, participants gain practical exposure to these techniques.

Key Takeaways & Who Can Join ?

Participants will develop a personalised somatic and grounding toolkit, practise facilitating grounding techniques, learn to select and adapt approaches to different client needs, and develop trauma-sensitive, choice-based communication skills. The training also introduces practical strategies for therapist self-regulation and the ethical integration of grounding techniques into psychological practice. It is suitable for psychology students, psychology interns, counselling and clinical psychology trainees, early-career therapists, and mental health professionals looking to expand their practical skills.
